Nestled in the peaceful countryside near Carvoeiro, the villa offers complete privacy while being just minutes from some of the Algarve’s most iconic beaches, including Praia da Marinha and Benagil Beach.
Designed with nature in mind, Casa Mú blends modern architecture with natural materials such as wood, stone and polished concrete. Every detail has been carefully selected—from handcrafted furniture made of reclaimed wood to locally produced Portuguese ceramics and a beautiful marble kitchen sourced from the Alentejo. During the cooler months, underfloor heating keeps the villa warm and comfortable.
Sustainability is at the heart of Casa Mú. Built using a highly insulated light steel frame, the villa minimizes its environmental impact while maximizing comfort. Solar panels provide hot water and heating, and the property’s wastewater is naturally purified and reused to irrigate the surrounding gardens.
The villa features 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 4 stylish bathrooms, including one with a bathtub, making it ideal for families and groups of friends. Check in was easy and quick, the villa was immaculately clean. There were many thoughtful extras such as a welcome basket, a very handy, detailed guide to the area they have written, and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. My only grip is they have slightly exaggerated the walk to the beach, it says 15 minutes but in reality and on Google maps it is a 45 minute walk. I think a hire car is sensible for this villa.
