About this house rental
The "bastidette" is a single-storey, independent cottage completely renovated in 2022 for 6 people.
A detached house in the countryside. For your stay you will benefit from private access to the heated swimming pool from May and a jacuzzi for 5 people. In the garden, we have set up a dining area for you (plancha, table and lounge). A second dining area is at your disposal on the terrace next to the jacuzzi.
To get to the Bastidette, you are 20 km from the Avigon TGV station and 7 km from the A7 motorway.
From the bastidette you can easily visit the region by car, motorbike or bicycle.
Indeed, the Provence cycle route passes right next to the house. You are 20 minutes from Avignon, St Remy de Provence and the Alpilles. It will take you between 30 and 40 minutes to get to Gordes, Roussillon or Mont Ventoux and 1 hour to go to the seaside (Cassis, Marseille). For golf lovers, there are three courses around the "Bastidette".

Perfect location to settle in and stay long enough to enjoy the amenities. We were there during a big heatwave so having no A/C was an adjustment. We bought and left a small electric fan that helped my teen grandson sleep better two of our three night. The host had two big containers of water for us in the nice sized refrigerator. We shopped for everything else we needed to make a few basic meals. Washer and dryer were a blessing. There are no English language materials in the house so I suspect French vacationers arrive by car with their own dishwasher detergent and other necessities. The host’s grandson interpreted for us on arrival and in correspondence using his excellent English. After one night, guests at a next door rental arrived and broke the perfect rural silence (normally punctuated only by roosters and the little country road) which was unfortunate. Still, the property was as promised and I can definitely recommend it.
