About this farm stay rental
We've recently purchased this beautiful property and are enjoying bringing it back to life as a farm and creating a space that is warm and welcoming for our guests - both inside and out. Our home is decorated with personal treasures and local artifacts. We'll have some basic plates, utensils in case you'd like to have your picnic or bbq here. Large decks with dining area and comfortable furniture. Lots of outside spaces to grab a book and just relax. We do have a farm pup that will likely welcome you.
Within minutes of Frankfort, Elberta, Arcadia, the Betsie River and Land Conservancy trails, close to all Benzie has to offer. Close to resturants, beaches sleeping bear dunes and hiking trails. You'll stay in a remodeled 1908 farmhouse with a large kitchen/dining area. First-floor master suite with lovely views of gardens and barn. Two bedrooms up. Expansive deck, lots of outdoor space to relax and play. Minimum 4 day stay Pets may be allowed with prior approval of type of pet
We are in the heart of Benzie and just minutes from dining and shopping in Frankfort, Beulah, and Benzonia. Hiking and mountain biking are all within ten minutes - enjoy Elberta Dunes, Arcadia Dunes, Railroad Point, and Green Point Dunes! Want to check out the sunset - Lake Michigan is 1-1/2 miles away. The Benzie Area Historical Museum, Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts, and Crystal Mountain all offer great entertainment options. Or just hang out right here...

We had a wonderful stay. The gardens are beautiful and the house is tucked away on a large quiet property - plenty to enjoy. The house is spacious and our hosts were so helpful but aso very respectful of giving us our space to enjoy. Will flag that only one room has AC - the fans and open windows worked well too but we had seen the AC unit in the picture and didn't realize it was only in one room so want to share for future guests!

A very pleasant, remote and quiet farmhouse with lovely gardens and modest hiking paths on ten acres. Friendly hosts Greg and Barb welcomed us upon arrival, socialized a bit but never intruded. One observation; all the plumbing is on the ground floor. There are sleeping quarters on both levels but second floor requires a flight of stairs for bathroom visits.
Comfy furniture inside and out plus a fire pit to enjoy at night. Very nice.

Enjoyed the artwork in the house. Great outdoor space with a lot of spots to explore. Lots of space to spread out inside, too. Loved the dog onsite:) Comfortable beds. Excellent bedding and bath towels.
