White Birch is a beautifully-remodeled 3-bedroom 2-bath ranch-style home on the Betsie River as it winds into Elberta, Michigan, just across the bay from Frankfort.
The home is located in a private setting, backing up to the Betsie River. Shops and restaurants in Frankfort are just a short bike ride or 5 minute drive away.
This home is a lovely hub for your Michigan adventures, whether you plan to relax at home, explore outside, or enjoy strolling bars, restaurants, and ice cream parlors.

Our local property manager lives in the area and is available to address any issues as needed.
NEIGHBORHOOD:
The home is located in a private setting, backing up to the Betsie River natural area. Shops and restaurants in the adorable town of Frankfort are just a short bike ride or 5 minute drive away.
Enjoy a hike directly from the front door of the house to Elberta Dunes South Natural Area, with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Spend time at Elberta Beach or Frankfort Beach on Lake Michigan, or venture to nearby Crystal Lake, Arcadia Dunes, or Sleeping Bear Dunes.
Enjoy hiking or biking the Betsie Valley Trail, a 22 mile path connecting nearby nature areas and towns. You’ll also find canoeing, fishing, and kayaking in the area.
You might also consider nearby Crystal Mountain Resort – a ski and spa resort with multi-season activities, located 20 minutes away in Thompsonville.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1) EXTRA GUEST FEE: There is an additional fee for each guest after the first 2 guests. Please make certain that the correct number of guests are on the reservation so that the total cost is correctly calculated.
2) PET POLICY: We allow up to 2 dogs at the property. Pets other than dogs are not permitted and more than 2 dogs is also not permitted. There is a pet fee if bringing 1 or 2 dogs. Thus, if bringing 1 or 2 dogs, please make certain that this is specified on the reservation so that the pet fee is appropriately applied.
3) NO AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the property does NOT have air conditioning. As such, it may get warm in the house during the summer if it is warm outside.
4) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.
5) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

Great place to stay, it felt like staying at my own house. It was well kept and kitchen had everything you might need. The area was great for pets as there was no neighbors close by. Close to other townships like Frankfort, Beulah and Benzonia. If available next year we will try to stay here again.

Easy check in. Very clean house. Very functional and practical. Worked great for 4 adults and two kids. Would be great for friends or families. 5 minutes from Frankfort. Short drive or walk to the dunes on Lake Michigan.

The house was extremely clean. The amenities were very nice. We didn't realize their was no AC, but we were lucky the weather allowed us to open the windows. No AC could have been an issue if it was warmer, or more humid.
