Endless relaxation

The location is unbeatable! Quiet but central neighbourhood, close to everything and with excellent public transport connections. The host was very kind and accommodating over the phone, and the contactless check-in went smoothly. The air conditioning and the hot water worked perfectly, no problems with the Wi-Fi. Well-equipped kitchen, big bright bathroom and a nice balcony where you can relax.

Just a couple of things: there seemed to be a persistent musty or damp smell in the air, thought this might be a general issue with the building rather than the apartment itself. Also, there was a lack of counter space in the bathroom for personal items. But, since this was a one-night stay, it was no major deal.

Kitchen a bit dark

The apartment had everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable. You can find toileteries even a tooth paste, hair dryer, umbrella. Kitchen was very well equipped too. If you need to wasch your clothes, there is a wasching machine. The metro station and tram stop are just 4 minutes away.

The bathtube needs a little bit of renovation but is was not a problem for us. You need to plan you showers little bit in advance because you need to switch on the water heating first. It takes around 30 mins.

The building where the apartment is located is a bit older, and the apartment itself may seem outdated to some. But you go to Athens (as a tourist) primarily to visit and admire a city full of history and I don't think you spend too much time in the room. Anyway, there are many advantages of this accommodation: - central location and very close to metro and tram stations (approx. 250 m) - easy check-in/check-out - cleanliness - decently equipped kitchen - comfortable mattress - air conditioners in the living room and bedroom, both for cold and hot weather - large (covered) terrace, even if it doesn't offer a spectacular view of the city - quite hard to beat value for money. In addition, the communication with the host was excellent.
