La comodità del centro !

Superb location, right in the city center and a few minutes' walk from the beach. We like night time city sizzle, and the location is perfect for it: A good night stroll, dinner at 9 pm in a nearby pizzeria; ice cream at 10 pm just downstairs, across the street -- a dream came true for the kids. The apartment was clean. The beds were comfy; we slept well. The air conditioner worked fine. The apartment has a balcony, too, which is nice. The windows' noise insulation is decent. In the kitchen there is a microwave oven, gas stove, kettle. No other oven, no dishwasher. Fridge and freezer are OK. A capsule coffee maker is occupying space on the counter, but just downstairs next door there is a cafe, serving perfect espresso. In the bathroom a shower cabin, toilet, bidet. A small washing machine, which was useful.

In the kitchen the pots and pans are badly scratched, beyond use. They are made of aluminium, so they pose a health hazard. We bought a pan and a pot for ourselves, which we took home with us. There are no wine or beer glasses. There was no bread knife, either. We bought one and left it for the guests who come after us. In the kitchen the lighting did not work over the gas stove. The whole kitchen was poorly, dimly lit. The bed in the smaller bedroom is 120 cm wide. It was suitable for our two young kids, but is not suitable for two adults. There is a sofa bed in the kitchen, but then there is no sitting at the table with the bed being open. Calculate accordingly. There is no safe in the apartment. On the other had, two of the wardrobe doors had locked locks on them, which felt unpleasant. Use wifi ending "EXT" (10 Mbps). Do not use "EXT 2" -- that's a repeater with 3-5 Mbps. (My mobile internet was 200 Mbps.) We got just one set of keys, which restricted our movement a bit; two sets would have made things easier. The intercom did not work. The accommodation description suggests that parking is available. It is not. There are public (white marked) parking spots in the street, but these are never available in summer. I ended up paying 83 EUR for 6 days for a pass in a covered parking area at the closest beach. (I wanted covered parking because of the potential risk of hailstones during storms.)

I was a pluss to have a balcony!

Wohnungsaustattung und -Größe ist in Ordnung; die Lage an sich ist nicht schlecht: Nähe zum Strand und auch zur Altstadt Chiogga. Allerdings liegt die Wohnung an einer - vor allem in den Nachtstunden - stark befahrenen "Spaß"-Straße, an der geistig Minderbemittelte bis in die Morgenstunden ihre aufgetunten, lauten Fahrzeuge auf und abjagen.

WLAN funktionierte kaum bis gar nicht. Stiege in den 3. Stock: enges, Luft-leeres Stiegenhaus. Kein privat-Parkplatz: Straßenparkplatz in der Hauptsaison (wir waren Mitte Juni) de facto nicht zu finden. Unpersönlicher Kontakt (nur über Nachrichten) - Wohnung dürfte aber in unserer Abwesenheit betreten worden sein: Wohnungstür war bei der Rückankunft 2 mal versperrt, obwohl wir sie in nur im geschlossenen Zustand verlassen hatten! In Summe ist der Preis für diese Wohnung nicht gerechtfertigt.
