Nothing.

It's not a studio apartment, it's just a room with a stove and microwave. The photos don't reflect reality. There's a lot of noise in the hallways with cleaning staff talking loudly early in the morning. Worse than the accommodation was the neighborhood. Streets full of garbage, completely abandoned by the government. I don't know what was worse, staying inside a 3x3 cubicle or going out into the street and ending up buried under the amount of garbage.

I did not stay because the property demanded an additional pre-authorisation of €80.

After I had paid for the accommodation, the property contacted me to ask for pre-authorisation of an additional €80 as a guarantee. They said I could not stay unless I did this. This had not been mentioned at the time I chose the propertly. I refused to do this and asked for my money back. The property told me that if I want money back I need to take it up with Booking.com. This is wrong: my contract is with the property and it is they who have my money.

Unsafe parking

The only positive aspect was the easy communication with the host.

‏ I chose this property mainly because it mentioned parking on the website. However, this was MISLIEDING, as there is no private parking—only public or street parking, which is not safe in this area. We had to find a secure parking lot 30 minutes away and pay €28, which was very inconvenient.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO

Relatively easy check in, the steps were easy to follow.

HORRIBLE LOCATION. The place is located close to the train station and is not that far away from monuments if you move by train. However, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. People were staring at us in a intimidating way and we were really scared. Moreover, there was a lot of trash on the street (piles of trash bags of over 1 metre tall). Furthermore, our room was connected to some patios which looked quite rundown and our windows did not have any kind of security. Not to mention that we heard screaming a few times and that there was a horrible smell of alcohol, rubbish and faeces. What is more, the streets had loads of insects walking around and we even saw rats. There was also a strange hole in the entrance of the apartment (looked like a sewer) and did not look safe at all. We also did not feel comfortable when closing the doors, because unless you locked it with the key, anyone could enter. Definetely, a very scary experience and we do not recommend this area at all.

Nice studio, but not really nice location

The studio is new and well equipped. Everything was as described. The place was clean. The studio was quite warm but a fan was provided.

The sink was partially clogged but did not cause any issue. The location itself is not the best. While it’s close to the station, the area is quite dirty and full with random self made markets or just many immigrants minding their own business on the streets. It does Not feel like Bruxelles and it was quite shocking at the beginning. In any case, we had no issue with anyone.

An excellent place to say. The neighbourhood does not have a great reputation, but we had no trouble at all, and found it very interesting and colourful. Very handy for Midi train station.

Apartment is good but not the aerea.

The apartment is great, clean and well equipped, we personally didn’t use the kitchen but i believe it has everything you need. It has a good value for money.

The aerea is really not great, nothing happened to us but you do not feel safe around there. I wouldn’t recommend it if you go with kids or with a group of only girls.

Serves it’s purpose as a cheaper accommodation option

Accommodation served its purpose and gave me and my brother a good base to hold our stuff.

The location wasn’t the best for first time visitors to Brussels (lots of men crowding the footpaths). Streets were a bit dirty when walking towards the city. Overall, there was no problems with locals but felt tense leaving the accommodation each time.

A delightful stay with a friendly host, clean accommodations just 10 minutes from the center

Our recent stay was great! We had an incredibly friendly and helpful host. Every question was met with a polite and prompt response, and the host even shared valuable tips on local attractions and locker locations. The room, though a bit cozy for four people, was spotlessly clean, equipped with towels and a hairdryer. The host's proactive approach and availability made the stay seamless and enjoyable. Located just 10 minutes from the city center by metro, the accommodation offers a convenient base for exploration. Overall, a delightful stay with a host who truly cares about guests' experiences.

While our stay was generally pleasant, there was one aspect that we did not like: the cleanliness of the neighborhood. We noticed that the area surrounding the accommodation was a bit dirty, but to be real the cleanliness of the neighborhood is not under the host's control. This was a relatively small concern in comparison to the positive aspects of our stay, such as the friendly host, clean room, and convenient proximity to the city center.

An apartment has everything you need and is very smartly designed. The location is close to the city center and metro. The host is very friendly and helpful. I also adore the environment-friendly concept of the facility.

Room was clean and spacious. Was quiet during night, not very far from Bruxelles Mid Station.

Location is quite bad, really dirty streets, and feels unsafe especially for women. There is an extensible couch in the studio but you can't use it for sleeping since you can't have any sheets/blankets for that.

The value is good, 300 meters from Metro, very nice and supportive staff, very clean rooms, good explanation for entrance

Location is so weak, the area is so dirty, smell on the street around is not good because of their supply, in from of entrance always is crowded, no TV, No hair dryer, no Kettle, No iron in the room, it’s around 20 steps In the entrance if someone have problems with them this property is not a good choice.

Very comfortable beds, clean and stylish bedroom, amazing guidebook with different places for tourists to explore.

Very unsafe neighborhood for young women, a lot of catcalling, scary and dangerous to walk outside especially when it gets dark. Not really a big dislike, but Lights are not bright, no trash bins inside the room, no blow drier.

Everything was great, the apartment was really comfortable to stay in, and close to the city center, we even didn’t use the public transport. The district was safe, maybe a bit loud during the day, but quiet in the night, everyone around was nice. Kitchen was equipped with cookware.

The apartment was very clean and spacious for the 3 of us. We liked the book that was provided to give us all the proper instructions on everything and their environment initiatives they are doing within their studios.

The location of this property felt a little unsafe, with garbage all over the streets and strangers staring and coming up to us. I would not recommend this to young females or families with children. The bathroom was also very dark
