The Lake Round Guest House

I really enjoyed my stay here. The young men that run it are lovely, so helpful with anything you need. The location is great, right near the river. I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try their breakfast, but I saw it a few times, and it looked amazing!

A group arrive one day while I was there and they were very loud. Obviously that’s not the guesthouses fault. People need to be more aware of their surroundings.

Very cool and relaxed staff great location overlooking Kandy in very quiet spot

The location was excellent, 2 minutes down to the lake, 5-10 minutes to the main part of town with loads of shops and restaurants, nice walk around the lake to get there. Room had everything you needed. They arranged a tuk tuk day tour around kandy for a very good price! The breakfast was great. And most importantly, the guys running the place were brilliant, so friendly, helpful & we had a right laugh with them and the other wonderful guests there in the evening! (& to Mr morris, if you’re reading this - hi!!)

I liked everything about this place! Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I had only and afternoon and one night stop over in Kandy. The host organised tickets for me to see some traditional dancing and helped me plan out my afternoon to see some of the main attractions to make most of my time there. The guest house has a very laid back hostel feel which I loved. Communal indoor and outdoor area where you can meet other guests. They also provided the most delicious breakfast. Room was also cozy and clean! Very happy. Would stay again!
