Charming One-Bed Apt in the Heart of Parramatta

The location is great as it's right outside both Parramatta and Harris Park stations. The apartment is very clean and modern. Everything is nearby and the entire location is quite safe.

The bedroom did not have double glazed doors or windows, so every sound from the road and the trains kept coming in. Additionally, there was a lot of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the bedroom.

Large and comfortable, good value for the price. Good cooking facilities. Reliable wifi. Nice big solid table. Location is convenient to Parramatta CBD and public transport.

Collecting the key was a pain. Landlord had given me the wrong combination to the lockbox, had to contact him for the correct one. Was still difficult after that, the combo lock is very small and I couldn't read the numbers with subpar eyesight, had to ask a passerby for help. Main issue once I got in is the noise from the nearby railway. It doesn't bother me much but I expect many people will feel differently. Minor issues: Shower water temperature very variable and required frequent adjustment. No extractor fan in the bathroom. One of the blimds in the bedroom is broken and can't be opened.
