Acropolis Deluxe 2BR Apartment

The apartment is beautifully fitted out. Everything is both stylish and functional. The location is close to everything, but very peaceful and quiet. The beds and linen were super comfortable. The communication with our hosts was so easy and fast. We would have liked to stay forever.

As other guests have noted, the key is difficult to manage from the outside until you get the hang of it. This could easily be fixed by a locksmith. We had difficulties using the hot water system as the sun was not shining, so it was necessary to ask the host how to heat the water. Then the taps in the bathroom are reversed for hot-cold, so running the water seemed ineffective. The host was very quick to respond and very helpful in fixing this. It would be much better if an instruction manual were provided with photos and an explanation rather than having to contact the host.

Beautiful, clean, spacious apartment in the ideal area of Athens. It is within walking distance to major attractions and restaurants.

There was a shortage of hot water each morning. Plenty of hot water in the afternoons and evenings though. This was absolutely the only negative. We still recommend it!

It was in a good location to see sights, eat, and take public transportation

We were robbed by those who entered our apartment 1/2 hour before we returned from dinner. The local vendor told us it happens regularly. The police stated it was a new area that is being targeted. Our plans were upended by having to wait a few days for new passports.
