Trullo degli Anelli in Masseria

Een geweldig trullicomplex, heerlijk rustige omgeving, prachtige tuin rondom die erg verzorgd is. Een heerlijk zwembad. In de avond is het hele complex sfeervol verlicht…een sprookje. De eigenaren Mimo en Maria waren geweldig, heel erg zorgzame mensen. Veel tips kregen we voor restaurants ,supermarkten en bakkers in de omgeving. Elke dag vroeg Mimo of alles in orde was. We hebben een rondleiding en historische informatie gekregen over het complex. We zijn zelfs op het dak van de Trulli geweest. Heel erg lief. We raden deze accommodatie aan iedereen aan. Het ontbrak ons aan niets.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay... The Trulli house was so authentic. Mimmo, the host, and his wife Maria couldn't do enough for us and were very attentive. There were a couple of basic things missing in the kitchen a chopping board and salad bowl. Mimmo quickly came to the rescue and provided us with them. He also recommended shops, restaurants etc which was great. There was a pool with plenty of sun loungers, the surroundings were very relaxing. The only negative and I'm being picky here is that the accommodation was about 3km from the town and there are no pavements, so a car would be advisable to get around. Other than that, we had 4 great days here and would certainly recommend the whole Trulli experience.

Nothing to dislike ar all

Our stay at the Trulli was delightful. The accommodation was great, in a really peaceful location with views over the olive trees. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun both outside the trulli, by the pool, and in the garden area. The pool was great, perfectly maintained. The hosts are lovely people, extremely kind and helpful, and happy to give advice, even took us on a tour of an olive farm. We walked into Cisternino a couple of evenings, although some form of lights would be advised as the lane is dark in places, and no pavement. The nearby Almond pasticceria is good for coffee and cakes in the garden. We hired bikes for a couple of days, and accessed the aquaduct cycleway very easily, and cycled to the other towns e.g. Alberobello
