About this house rental
We will have the pleasure of welcoming you to our family home in the picturesque Tréboul district of Douarnenez, where we live regularly!
Our house is located in a quiet street, 200 meters from the Saint Jean beach and the GR34, and 5 minutes walk from the port where there are shops (bakery, market, cheesemonger, butcher, ...) and restaurants.
The house has all the modern comforts and we try to make it more comfortable with each new stay.
The house, an old fisherman's house, ideal for a family holiday by the sea.
The house is on 3 levels (first floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor).
It has a modern, fully equipped kitchen.
Quality wifi access is available in the house, and an office area has been installed on the top floor, in the large bedroom, for those who would like to telework.
Three large bedrooms can accommodate 6 adults: 2 on the first floor (two 90 beds, one 160 bed), 1 on the top floor (160 bed). Quality bedding.
Shower room on the first floor with WC. Separate WC on the first floor
Pretty garden with trees and enclosed and terrace behind the house, west orientation. We provide a garden table and a barbecue. 2 bicycles are also available in the shed.
We provide accessories for toddlers on request (bath, high chair and cot, games).
Bed linen and towels are not included (possibility to rent sheets according to availability on request for 15€/bed regardless of the length of stay).
Pets not allowed.
Entry into the premises will be done independently via a key box (unless otherwise requested)

My elderly parents and I stayed for two weeks in the lovely Maison Rouge in Tréboul and enjoyed every minute. The house is in one of the little streets between Port de Plaisance and the Plage de Sable Blanc. It is a very quiet residential area with many locals living along the street.
Having been to Douarnenez multiple times, we were thrilled to stay in a "real" Breton cottage. It is a historical building, but has been refurbished thoroughly. The house is beautifully furbished and is very spacious. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need, pots and pans, cutlery and other cooking equipment are abundant.
There is a small bathroom on the ground floor and a larger one with a shower on the first floor. The bedrooms are on the first and second floor. Overall, the house can accomodate up to six people and possible a toddler, as well (there is a cot on the top floor). There is plenty of room for clothes and luggage.
There is a surprisingly roomy and very prettily kept garden behind the house. Visitors can use garden furniture from the shack (there is a large terrace that is accessible from the kitchen) and even a small barbecue.
Yann, the owner, was very friendly, let us know all relevant information ahead of time, and was swiftly available for questions. He and his family seem to live at least part-time in the house and provide visitors with a lot of information.
We can absolutely recommend the lovely little house and will be happy to return!
