What is Seahab? It is the feeling of rehabilitation you can only get from the water... and every inch of this spectacular retreat has been purposefully designed for relaxation! Built in 2016, this 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom vacation home on Oak Island boasts a brand-new saltwater private pool, multiple balconies with partial ocean views, timeless coastal decor, and more amenities than you can imagine. Not to mention it is centrally located and within steps from beach access, Middleton Park, popular restaurants, OKI Coffee House, and Publix grocery store.
As you walk into the main floor, you are instantly welcomed by the spacious open floor plan and tranquil coastal-inspired interior design! The living area features local artwork and a comfy leather sectional couch to snuggle up and watch your favorite shows or movies together on the large flatscreen TV. A brand new pool table was recently installed for your enjoyment and includes all the accessories you will need, like cue sticks and balls. If you prefer to head outside, you can access two covered balconies from this floor — one that is perfect for catching the sunrise from the hammock and has a staircase that leads to the pool, and a second with chairs to unwind as the sun sets behind the dunes.
If you plan to cook during your stay, you will fall in love with every detail of the meticulously designed kitchen. From the stainless steel appliances and custom sea glass colored back splash to the ample counter space and center island with bar seating for up to 3! When you are ready to sit down and enjoy a meal together, the dining area has an impressive rustic wooden table with bench seating and chairs to seat up to 6. This floor is completed by a guest bedroom with a queen, a full bath with a large walk-in shower, and a generous laundry room.
Upstairs, at the top of the staircase, you will find a door that leads out to the top balcony featuring multiple seating areas — including plush wicker furniture! The primary bedroom boasts a stunning 4-poster queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower and an extended double vanity. Down the hall, the remaining three bedrooms share a serene bathroom that has a unique freestanding soaking tub with plenty of counter space. The guest bedroom on the left side of the hallway has a queen-size bed, ocean views, and a flatscreen TV. There are two additional guest bedrooms on this level (right side of the hallway), one with a twin-over-double bunk bed and flatscreen TV, and the other with a twin-over-twin bunk bed.
For those visiting to spend time soaking in the sun and relaxing poolside, you are in for a treat on the ground level! The brand-new saltwater pool is the star of the show. It is fully enclosed with privacy fencing and is the perfect place to spend afternoons playing pool games or for a night swim as the stars twinkle above. About Middleton Park
Middleton Park is located right across the street from this home and offers a wide variety of activities for people of all ages. The younger travelers in your group will love the pirate ship-themed playground and cooling off at the splash pad water park in the warmer months! There are even numerous sports courts to take advantage of, including pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts. This complex is also home to dozens of local events throughout the year – from festivals and concerts to farmer's markets and sporting events. If you have not guessed already, this is the place for outdoor recreation on the island and is only steps from entertainment!

This home welcomes up to two dogs. All pet-friendly homes include a $175 fee that covers bringing up to one dog. An additional $50 fee applies if you are bringing a second dog. Please note that dogs are the only pets permitted.
As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7-night minimum with a mandatory Saturday-to-Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. Clean home and VERY convenient location that allows you to walk to grocery, beach, park/ampitheater, and restaurant/bar. Property Management was responsive for needs.

We had a wonderful time at this home! Our group consisted of 2 adults and 6 teens. The location in proximity to the beach, skate park, farmers market, basketball was absolutely ideal!

Seahab has the potential to be a 5 star+ rental.
The good: great location- convenient to beach, the park (splash pad, skate park, Farmer’s market and music on Friday nights) grocery stores and restaurants, has a nice pool, is pet friendly and has a garage. Beach chairs, wagon, boogie boards and board games available. Great pool and floats provided.
The bad: whoever cleaned this house needs some direction. The floors were not cleaned except in the middle of the rooms. The refrigerator was nasty and the hvac filter hasn’t been cleaned in a while. There was mold in the shower on the first floor and the shower door needs attention. The grill had leaked grease onto the concrete floor near the pool. There was food underneath all the sectional sofa cushions which is attracting roaches.
The house is advertised as 5 bedrooms, but the “bedroom “ on the main floor is a sleeper sofa. This room is obviously a bedroom but I don’t know why anyone would want a sofa in this room. It should be removed and a double or queen bed should replace the uncomfortable sleeper. The queen bed on the upper level is metal and makes so much noise when you turn over that it wakes up your sleeping partner. The pool was hazy and no one came by to check the water quality. We had to buy a pot to boil 3lbs of shrimp ( kitchen needs better pots and pans).
Again, we really liked this house and with some attention it would be a great rental. Will not return unless upgrades are made.
