シーラニ白浜荘

We had a very large room with ample space to put our bags, hang clothes and a large table to lay out personal items. We really appreciated having a private vanity in our room. We had a beautiful view of the river out our window and it was soothing to listen to the flowing water. Air conditioning and wifi were both excellent. There is a shared seating area, a well stocked kitchen with a big fridge, and lots of shared bathrooms, showers and tubs. They do not provide meals but there is a restaurant a 10 - 15 minute walk away called Aunt Dinah that is delightful. There is also a Phoenix grocery store with prepared meals you can buy the night before to have a quick and easy breakfast in the morning. We were walking the Shikoku 88 pilgrimage and the guest house is located just about 200 metres off the route.

The tatami matts were thinner than other places we have stayed and there was no base mattress, so it was not as comfortable as other ryokans we stayed in, but the pillows were very nice. We do wish the hosts were more conscientious of privacy once a person is in their room. Someone knocked on our door and before we could respond opened the door to say something - right in the middle of one of us changing our clothes. We also asked about laundry and never received a response.

Everything worked, lots of facilities for everyone. Lots of room. Very reliable and well managed

There was no aspect of this inn that was not good or better

Friendly host. So much space in the common area and the bedroom was huge too. Loved the location by the creek. Walking distance to the village.
