Rotheram (Suite) at Bicester Heritage

This was such a unique property. So comfy while retaining the original features from its previous life as the room that housed the Super Computer invented by Alan Turin. The bed was cosy, pillows (always hard to get good ones) were super comfy. The shower was great!! We chose a week that had no events. Within the site, but it was still very lovely to walk around and take it the atmosphere and see old cars. Great base for visiting local attractions too. We had a great stay

A great location for me for my work

The property is lovely, however there were a few minor issues. Being on the ground floor, and as a lone female traveller, I was nervous about having the window open at night as someone could have easily entered the room - the windows are huge! The apartment was reasonable clean, but the crockery, cutlery and inside the oven weren’t clean, neither was the shower tray, so i cleaned these myself.

The property was great. Everything you’d expect from a double room with the added bonus of a kitchenette. Set in fairly nice and quiet grounds and it took me back to when I lived in military accommodation.

I didn’t like that the property’s prices were heavily inflated just because the F1 British GP was on. For three nights in Bicester, I could have had two weeks in Kos, including flights. Dynamic pricing at its best and shame on companies that do that to consumers. Let’s face it, it’s just an old RAF building done up nice inside. Not worth £537 per night but it was all that was available.
