Apartamento a pie de playa Escapadas Santa Pola

The location was excellent. The third floor was perfect for us, we had sunshine all day. Very close to the beach, port and all amenities.

The apartment was advertised as a three bedroom let which is why we chose it, as we invited our daughter with two grandchildren to spend week with us. Having already purchased the tickets when we were told that we couldn’t use the third bedroom as it was for the made service. With everything booked and compromised regarding beds we decided to stay rather than try to find other accommodation so close to departure. The owner sent a video of the apartment and all three bedrooms then one week before our departure we were informed that we couldn’t use the third bedroom but she did provide a crib which was not ideal but with only week before departure we had to make do as all flights and taxes already booked and to find alternative accommodation that quick was near impossible. We believe that we should have some sort of compensation, not to ruin our family holiday abroad ( grand children first) we decided to enjoy the holiday and raise the question after. Also certain utensils were unsuitable in the kitchen, we had to go and buy some new items which to landlord credit apologised and reimburse us straight away. Having issues with two power cuts due to using too much power in one time which shouldn’t be a problem and nothing to warn us about the possibility and no instructions how to deal with the problem. With no power it meant there was no electricity to operate the blind on the balcony, also no internet to contact anyone but locally we managed to reset the fuse box both times. Susana was apologetic to our concerns and always was available for any problem.

Fantastisk beliggenhet

Leiligheten var svært kald vinterstid. Ingen sentraloppvarming. To separate varmeovner var tilgjengelig. Ingen fast varmekilde på badet, slik at ovnene ble vekselsvis brukt i stuen og badet. Ble ovnene brukt samtidig, gikk strømmen og ny sikring ble satt i. Leiligheten var ellers greit innredet. Ellers har sengetøyet aldri den standard vi i Norge er vant med, ingen dyne, men enkle tynne tepper.

Susanne the owner kept in contact with us and on arrival we were able to get good clear mobile phone instructions and we also met by the Maintenance Manager of the Apartment block who helped us as well re the building and security

Coming to terms with living in a flat within a large complex after living for so long in our own bungalow set within our own property, getting used to people coming and going and noises from above and next door neighbours does take a bit of readjusting

Fantastisk lägenhet, allt fanns, saknade ingenting. Superbt läge, restauranger, butiker, supermercado fanns mycket nära. Stranden och strandpromenaden precis utanför. 2 marknader, lördag och måndag varje vecka! Åker gärna tillbaka! Trevlig tillmötesgående värd.
