Friendly people but cabin is infested with RATS!. Think twice

- The place is set beautifully among the rice terraces. Not touristic. - People are friendly and the restaurant nearby has quite good food, although slightly expensive for Indonesian standards. - Owner has been kind to help us with transport when Gojek was not finding any drivers.

-The cabin itself is infested with RATS. In the inner wall (only separated by thin bamboo with holes, it is full of rats and they are especially active at night at around 10 cm from your head when you try to sleep. The owner will mention they are rice rats, which are common to the rice fields, but they are EVERYWHERE in the village due to the chicken farms. Unless your dream is to have a sleepless night with rats crawling around your head, I wouldn't recommend this place. There was also a big lizard (40cm) in our bathroom, but guess that is fine. -Upon arrival (normal check in time) our cabin was not cleaned yet, they cleaned it quickly, everything still wet and not clean. - The bathroom is not clean and very basic, and the shower was not getting warm, so we had to get to another cabin for a shower at night. - We were there end of December, most of the rice fields where harvested and you would basically be looking at mudpools...Also the waterfall nearby was not accessible due to the rain. Recommend not to come during this period.

The location of the cabin is perfect. You are between rice terraces with a beautiful view. Nearby there is a nice walk with an impressive waterfall and if you are lucky the dog will also show you the way. We had a very nice stay thanks to Arta who also showed us many things around. Thank you again Arta !

One improvement would be a bigger mosquito netting around the bed. Otherwise everything was perfect !

Breathtaking view, near to Jatiluwih rice terrace.

The room could have been cleaner and we heard strange noises during the night coming from the space between interior walls and roof.

It was really good I was glad we booked it

The surroundings are very beautiful. And we watched an unforgettable sunset. You can take amazing photos at the swing and the resting area during sunset hours. The rice terrace is very beautiful and it is. Better looking than the tourist attraction ones for when we were there. The famous tegalalang rice terrace was dry when we drove pass. So can’t believe our luck with having one just looking out from our room! Only thing is it is a bit far from everything. Not easy to get driver from Gojek or grab to come to here. We were able to get klook to book for private charter drivers to come and take us around and book tours that includes hotel transfer. Night time is very quiet. Restaurant is friendly. We didn’t make it to the waterfall the way going down was a bit bushy this time. The sunset was amazing and the surrounding is really peaceful. It is really good if you want a get away sort of holiday.

I really enjoyed the serenity of the atmosphere around the cabin with my partner.. we really enjoyed the natural beauty around the cabin area.. starting from waterfalls, rice fields, very friendly locals... and amazing evenings... i am very very happy to find a place like this cabin... thank you

Lovely place in the rice terraces

A single hut in and with a great view on the rice terraces. All new and clean. Quiet and with a comfy bed - we slept well. The manager Arta is a very helpful and made sure we had everything. A restaurant is close by, although we had the breakfast on the terrace.

Superb

The natural beauty that can lull me all day long. Also close to the "kincir" waterfall. I also watched the stars scatter in the sky with the bonus of fireflies at night 😁 it feels like 1 night is not enough for me to stay here. Next vacation I will definitely visit and stay longer here again. This is really a cabin full of magic. Thank you!

Toller Aufenhtalt mitten in den Reisfeldern

Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft schön, mitten in den Reisfeldern. Hier kann man in Ruhe die Natur genießen und entspannen. Wir waren überall alleine unterwegs und Blacky der Haushund hat uns beim Spaziergang begleitet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier haben wir das Beste Gado-Gado und Hühnchen gegessen.

La beauté de l’emplacement La gentillesse d’Arta avec qui nous avons passé la journée du lendemain ! Il est un guide attentif, tout en laissant de l’indépendance. Le Warung très bon Lieu intimiste sans vis à vis Au calme avec le bruit de la nature

Rien, mais sachez que le lieu est isolé donc prévoir un moyen de locomotion autre que vos pieds pour vous déplacer !

Cadre exceptionnel !! Petite cabine avec vue sur les rizieres, très calme avec un warung juste a coté pour manger. Jatiluwih à environ 40min de marche.
