Villa Aura - Beachfront Villa with private pool

The villa is beautiful. Kastraki beach is quite remote, which we really liked. We particularly liked the pool. The local supermarket delivered groceries for us, and Paradise Tavern was a 10-15 min walk up the road, and had the most fabulous food.

It seems a little odd that there as no TV or Oven in the kitchen. The A/C was temperamental if you didn't have it on full fan, which made sleeping sometimes unpleasant.

very clean very spacious. We had a great contact with Sarah and Marco. The villa itself is very well equipped and we even got a welcoming gift from the owners. We were very happy with the place and a beautiful garden around :)

They do not have influence on it but there was very loud construction in the neighbouring villa. It was hard to stay outside because of the noise and in the afternoon when we wanted to play in the pool we had to be quiet because of siesta. Only during evenings we could truly use the time around villa (of course before the quiet hours). Gladly the beach is very close :) and I think it’s only temporary inconvenience

Villa Aura was absolutely wonderful! When we arrived to the villa we were warmly greeted by Marco who is the host for this villa. He showed us around the entire property and gave a rundown of where everything was located inside and outside the house. He left us with a bottle of wine and local olive oil as well as fruits to start our vacation which was very thoughtful! Marco gave us pointers on the best areas to visit throughout the island of naxos with restaurants and excursions! The hosts Marco and Sarah were very responsive to our needs. The villa itself had everything we needed! It has a gorgeous pool where we spent most of our days looking out into the sea! It has 2 balconies and a garden! the proximity of the house to the sea was a short 2 minute walk from the villa and was absolutely beautiful, it almost felt like it was right in our backyard! The outdoor shower was nice when we came back from the beach to rinse ourselves off! The beds were very comfortable! The master bedroom upstairs was very spacious with lots of closet space and had a window overlooking the sea. Downstair’s bedrooms were on the smaller side but had enough space for two teenagers. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at villa Aura and would absolutely love to come back one day to stay again!

There was some construction going on at the nearby villas that were being built. The ramp to the home to park the car was very steep and you had to be careful to park your car.
