My family had a wonderful time here. The house was mostly nicely furnished. It was comfortable and spacious for 6, with plenty of beds and bathrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit.
A lot of the cookware was old and on the smaller side. It was hard to find some supplies (e.g., paper towels). The bathtub downstairs drained very slowly.

The ambiance was lovely. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were gorgeous. Everything was easily labeled to locate and well stocked compared to other places I’ve stayed. Instructions were very easy and they were quick to respond to questions. We even saw some wildlife in the morning watch deer and a fox cross the property. I’d definitely stay here again.
I wish the check in was more aligned with hotels at 3p and checkout at 11am. Also due to the wood floors you hear everything when others are in the house and awake at night.

The house was overall good. It was set up nicely with plenty of room for our family to spread out and be comfortable. The layout of the home had a really nice flow and feel to it. The bathrooms were excellent, with reliable hot water and good water pressure. The kids especially enjoyed having things to play with outside, which was a big plus for us. Overall, the home was welcoming, spacious, and worked well for a family stay.
Unfortunately, cleanliness and basic supplies were a major issue during our stay. Several areas in the common spaces clearly had not been cleaned in quite a while. There was not a single hand cloth in the entire house, only two kitchen towels and one roll of paper towels. There was no dishwasher detergent (even though running the dishwasher is part of the checkout instructions), no laundry detergent to wash the limited towels provided, and no extra toilet paper or hand towels in the bathrooms.
Each bedroom did have two bath towels, which was appreciated, but for a family of four staying four days, the lack of basic supplies made things difficult. We ultimately had to go out and purchase everything needed just to get through the stay. If these items are not provided, that’s understandable, but it should be clearly stated in the listing so guests can plan ahead.
We also found random damaged items tucked away in drawers and closets throughout the house. Trash was left downstairs along with a completely full dustpan. The pots and pans were quite old and dirty, several cooking utensils were melted, and there was a significant amount of open food left in the cabinets that was well past expiration.
The house itself has a lot of potential, but the lack of attention to detail and overall cleanliness really detracted from the experience.
