The rooms are very clean. The real draw is the restaurant. Very good food typical of the area. Fairly rich and not too many lighter choices. Good winelist. Truly excellent service from the staff. The garden is absolutely delightful.
I found the rooms too small and not much room to turn around from bedroom to bathroom. The beds are not big. The breakfast was absolutely fine but not outstanding.

Well maintained and landscaped property with modern facilities. The staff was excellent and very friendly and attentive. They also spoke English. The attached restaurant had delicious food.
Decor was a bit dated and there was a road very close to the property which was occasionally noisy.

Reading other reviews I expected the evening meal to be excellent. It definitely was the highlight of our stay! It is a rather old-fashioned French style hotel (which we like), it just needed a little tlc in the decor and cleanliness to be perfect.
The breakfast was rather disappointing. 10 years ago maybe it would have been OK, but now we expect a good selection of fruits, seeds and nuts. It seemed half-hearted after such a great evening meal.

There were no other restaurants in the immediate vicinity but the hotel menu was limited. Fine for one night only.
No where to sit and just relax, indoors or outdoors.
