Beautiful modern apartment with all the amenities to cook a full meal (seared ahi tuna) or just walk out the front door and stroll to the many nearby dining options. We would pick up our morning coffee and tea right across the street at Espresso Paonia and sit on the balcony welcoming the day arrive in this sleepy bucolic town. Morgan is an amazing barista who has an uncanny memory for many orders at once. All the while engaging in banter with locals and visitors alike. Air conditioning this time of year was welcome. By the time the sun disappeared behind the neighboring hills the temps cooled down enough to open windows and enjoy the summer breeze. Despite being on the main drag in Paonia it remained quiet and peaceful especially at night when the cars disappear and you're left with the warm sounds of children riding their bikes or couples strolling the quiet streets. The bathroom is modern, bright, with a great shower and a washer and dryer in it. The queen sized bed was very comfortable and if needed the sofa opened up into a bed as well. We had a delightful rest here after many days hiking in the Rockies. Much to explore in the area and delighted in the hometown feel of Paonia. We will be back.

I adored this place. The location can’t be beat. It has an adorable patio facing Grand Ave. walking distance to every spot in town. It has an entrance in the back and onto Grand Ave. There is designated parking in back. It was quiet and cozy. Wonderfully designed and staged. The hosts were excellent, very flexible as the snow impacted my stay. Excellent communication. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and hope to stay again! Thank you!
