Very clean unit and hospitable host. We were greeted with a lovely gift basket of food and toiletries. Very bright unit with big windows and a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Very nice linens and towels. The parking spot is awesome. It is located next to the garage door and very close to the unit.
Unfortunately, the carpet in the bedroom was dirty and very worn and one of the lamp shades in the bedroom was worn with burn marks from the light bulbs. There were no lamps in the living room and only overhead ceiling lights. There was no area rug under the coffee table which made the unit stark and uninviting. I was told the bed was king when it was a queen and it had a very soft and uncomfortable mattress.
I was also told two days before arrival that the exterior of the building was under construction and I would not have access to the balcony for a few days. I was barricaded in from the outside. I could not open the sliding door to the balcony or walk out onto it until March 25. Fortunately the host agreed to compensate me with a discount towards the monthly fee which I was grateful for but it did not make up for the majority of my stay which was not very pleasant due to the construction and inaccessibility of the balcony.
I rented the unit because it had a balcony and a king size bed.
I am confident these issues can be resolved by the host for the next tenant as the unit has potential to be very nice.
