Good value for comfortable family accommodation

Very happy with out stay. We stayed here over Christmas while visiting family nearby. The host went out of her way to make us feel at home, even putting up a Christmas tree and lights. Communication re heating and key-pickup was excellent. I was slightly concerned about kitchen facilities having read other reviews. While I might have struggled to cook Christmas dinner there that was never the plan. Plenty of pots, pans, baking sheets etc. and the oven/hobs worked fine, so I don't really understand the problems others experienced. Would happily stay again if the need arose.

Could have been another couple of sets of cutlery in a house that sleeps 5. But if that's the main criticism the host is clearly doing lots of things right. Not cheap but pretty good value given the lack of suitable alternatives.

Really pleasant family break to Hartlepool.👍

Great central quiet location, easily accessible to local attractions. Comfortable house for a family trip. Nice and warm considering the cooler weather. Good communication from the host which was appreciated.

The kitchen was disappointing - in particular the cookware which was really only fit for the bin. The house would benefit from a new set of crockery, cups, glasses, oven trays and general cookware. No plug sockets near any of the available mirrors to dry hair. A freestanding vanity mirror in any of the rooms would be a helpful addition.

Home from home,

Absolutely lovely stay, house was a home from home. With everything you need to get on. Host was super helpful with advice on places of interest and local activities. And very understanding when I reported damage my children had done. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing could have been better. Host to house its all a winner.
