The Sanctuary

This place is good value for money, its pretty basic however has what you need. The beds were very comfortable especially at the price point, it was clean and the facilities worked well. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bath is a spa bath although not a super powerful one. Plenty of crockery, cups, etc. Washing up liquid, sponges, some basic condiments were all supplied. Local beaches are great although if there in peak season get there early as the car parks fill up by about 11am. There were Kangaroos cruising around the neighbourhood which kept the kids entertained. Locals seemed friendly.

Kitchen was a little cramped with minimal bench space however we just ate outside. Description of how to access the keys could use some improvement. The windows are pretty small and I suspect it would be warm over summer however there is a portable air con that helped. The doors don't have fly screens so cannot be left open overnight unless you like insect bites. We were there in late March so not much of an issue. The local Chinese restaurant was pretty average and the local bakery was good.
