Nice decor, very easy to walk to from the train station, shops downstairs, high street just across the road, good location, it was clean and had good amenities - fridge, tea, coffee, TV, cooker etc, reception staff were friendly. Overall a good stay! Nice balcony too!
The room itself was very hot - we had to ask for a fan but it was very dirty/dusty so we had to wipe it down. Great they provided a fan though. The bed and pillows were not comfortable nor was the sofa in the living room...lovely decor but no point if you can't get good quality sleep.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a nice bath and shower, and a balcony. The bedroom was warm and the windows were good. All the guests I met seemed friendly.
I found the steps up to reception difficult because I have arthritis. The corridoors were a bit bleak.
