The location was perfect for us, but that was because it was within walking distance of where our son lives in Mexico Beach. Very nice little beach house. Had a well-stocked kitchen, including spices, a washer and dryer, two bedrooms upstairs each with their own bathroom with shower, and another bathroom and shower downstairs. The second bedroom appears to be intended for kids, with a large bunk bed.
The city doesn't have much to speak about. No good food. We found some good food 20 to 40 minutes away in Panama City, as well as further in Panama City Beach. Had to drive 20 to 40 minutes as well for groceries, to Port St. Joe or Panama City. (Keep in mind that Port St. Joe is in the next time zone, an hour later — unexpectedly arrived just before the store was closing as a result.)

Sand Buckets was a great play to stay for our family. The instructions to gain access were easy and there was a nice note with a small welcome basket with sun screen, soaps, etc. The townhome was very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were decently comfortable. We had a couple of maintenance concerns to which Ron was very responsive. Mexico Beach was beautiful and the townhouse was walking distance. A cute little general store across the street and some unassuming restaurants made for a peaceful, easy vacation for our family.

Beautiful condo in great location! Super comfortable with everything we needed! Quick walk to the beach. Had a balcony and wonderful porch on main level with sitting area. Property owners very responsive to questions and accommodating!
