The location has beautiful scenery and is quiet, you can easily walk into Elounda town or explore the island.
The villa was also really pretty, it had an authentic feel to it and was a relaxing environment. Lastly, the staff were friendly and helpful, you can get good coffee from the onsite cafe and order food.

The accommodation is very beautiful! Especially the artistic works that you can visit in the garden of the accommodation. It seems like you are walking every morning in an open-air museum. The common terrace is chic and has a very beautiful view! In the evening the shores of Elounda and the Salt Lake are superb, unreal! On the other hand, the wind is crazy! And sometimes the road from the city to the accommodation is tiring, especially with a "belly" full of taverns or restaurants. The apartment is very nice and very clean, but it is on three levels - the ground floor which is nice but strange, the next floor which you reach by a staircase, where the kitchen and the bathroom are, and other stairs above where the bedroom and another bathroom are. On this level there is a balcony, a terrace with an unreal beautiful view, but which you can hardly enjoy because of the same wind. And that was slightly uncomfortable, because you have to go up and down many times, even for small things. On the other hand the area is so beautiful that you don't really stay in the apartment, but rather walk around, so it's not a major discomfort! The beach in front is not extraordinary, but you can't complain, because you are surrounded by a lot of other beautiful beaches! Our welcome was very familiar, because we found the gate open and on one of the tables on the common terrace there were "notes, letters", addressed personally to each client who was going to come. At first glance it may have seemed a dry or inappropriate welcome, but we felt as if "mother or grandmother" had left us a note telling us: - "our dears, we are not at home at the moment, we will return tomorrow morning. You will be accommodated and feel at home! Maybe our artistic nature interpreted all these small details more bohemian than reality. We felt good! The meeting with Little Jones was surprising, he was climbing the stairs in the morning and when he saw me he froze!

Las llaves estaban en la puerta, nadie nos ayudo con las valijas. La primera impresion no fue genial. La vista desde la planta superior es lo unico que rescato. La cama es grande y cómoda
Me parece que la publicacion es engañosa ya que el departamento no esta en la planta superior sino que es un duplex con dos escaleras, por lo que es muy incomodo. Falta claridad en la explicacion sobre la intencion ecologista del alojamiento, donde solo ofrecen un ventilador en el piso superior que tira poco aire para el calor que se genera en el departameno durante el dia. .
