We stayed here for three nights in January. The house has everything needed to stay warm in winter: a fireplace, air conditioning, a heater, and heated mattress pads.
There is a boiler, and there was always enough hot water. The house is very cozy, and the hostess is kind and welcoming. When we arrived, she drove us around the entire village in her car and told us about all the local sights.
The downside was the weak Wi-Fi, but we didn’t mention it to the hostess. Perhaps she would have resolved the issue.

Old beautiful house in small and beautiful village in a great area, with a river and mountains, great for some quiet times or base to explore the surroundings
Very special old house, with a courtyard and porch, kitchen, looking over the mountains. Villy is super friendly and can tell you where are the best places, concerts and happenings.

L'accueil et la disponibilité, la propriétaire est au petit soin, de très bons conseils pour découvrir la région de Sparte et la Laconie. Le petit village dispose de plusieurs restaurants, de plusieurs épiceries, tout y est moins cher et nous y retrouvons l'accueil légendaire du peuple grec. Le gîte dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin et la vue est magnifique. Nous y avons retrouvé de l'authenticité et beaucoup de chaleur humaine. Un grand merci
