A great experience

If you are expecting herds of wild beasts and a sea view, you will be disappointed, but your host, an amazing and interesting person, will reiterate the whole of Faulty Towers. I did mention the war, but I think I got away with it. As I hope you will see, we were very impressed with our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the area, host, and accommodation. Should you be invited to have an evening meal with him, grab it with both hands, as we had an excellent meal with choices and the service was very professional, which lasted well into the night. The very reason we travel with Booking.com

Perfect little place that feels like a friend's home

Just a wonderful experience not just a place to sleep. We were welcomed by the owner and got chatting right away. We also shared a dinner prepared for us by the amazing personal chef :D The house is located in a cute, quiet village and has an amazing view. The room was cozy, comfortable and it made us feel like we stayed at a friend's house in their guest room. We did some short walks around the village and loved the area. Spending a few more days there would have been even better but we were on a roadtrip with a tight schedule so needed to move forward. We would absolutely love to come back.

Wonderful little home-style accomodation in the French country side. Everything was absolutely lovely! The room had everything we needed, and the breakfast on the outdoor terrace was great! As was the wine available for purchase at the hotel. Very beautiful location too, we really enjoyed the morning walk with our dogs. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing place to stop at for the night on our trip. Would definitely recommend!

It was a little hard to find, maybe a bigger sign on the house would've been helpful. But otherwise, everything was great! We really enjoyed our short stay.

Gorgeous view from room and terrace, charming ambience, tastefully & authentically decorated, great bathroom, beautiful food.

The photos give an impression of a terrace for each room. We actually loved meeting new people on the shared terrace over dinner but it is a little misleading.

Le côté rustique de la maison, le propriétaire fesait ce qu'il pouvait pour parler Français et pour mettre les gens à l'aise.

Une bonne adresse pour quelques nuits dans un vieux bâtiment restauré avec goût

Le village est très beau, ainsi que le bâtiment restauré avec goût (qui n'est pas un château contrairement à ce que son nom indique). Les chambres sont très comfortables et propres. Le dîner est bon, ainsi que les boissons, et il est servi à la même table que les autres convives ce qui fait qu'il est très agréable de passer ce moment en leur compagnie! L'hôte Bertrand, qui parle néerlandais et anglais, a une manière franche et directe de s'adresser à ses clients.

Très bien mais perfectible.

C'est un bel endroit, les propriétaires sont sympathiques mais ne parlent pas français. La salle de bain et la décoration en général est un point fort.

J'aurais préféré un matelas plus ferme et un Petit déjeuner un peu plus varié (plus de choix de confiture, de thé) au vu du prix de la chambre.

Heerlijk afgelegen slaperig dorpje waar geen kasteel te bekennen viel...maar dat terzijde Aangename ontspannen sfeer waar de meeste gasten zich snel thuis voelen. Hoop muziek en gezelligheid........

Erg kleine kamer, waar we niets kwijt konden Niet al te vrij, want vlak naast de sociale ruimtes en een toilet, cq. badkamer op de gang Ontbijt pas geserveerd om half negen s ochtends, is echt te laat als je op doorreis bent.

Heerlijke overnachting op een mooie locatie.

We hebben het heerlijk gehad. Een erg vriendelijk ontvangst door de gastheer. Mooie kamer, heerlijke douche en een goed bed. Het diner is een aanrader. Op terras met prachtig uitzicht en het eten was erg lekker. Het prettige gezelschap maakte het een perfecte avond. Ontbijt was ook erg goed. Wij hebben genoten en ons hondje ook in de tuin

De kamer was oké.

De ligging was matig. De ontvangst viel tegen. We aten mee en het servies was ranzig. De onderkant van de borden waren lang niet gewassen. Meneer des huizen hoorde zichzelf graag praten over onderwerpen die niks met het verblijf, omgeving of vakantie te maken hadden.

Merci à mes hôtes. Quel accueil ! Un super petit déjeuner, une chambre extrêmement calme et confortable. Et surtout rencontrer d'autres personnes de nationalité différente. Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit mais c'est un très beau souvenir. A bientôt.

Guter Start in die Motorradtour

Sehr netter Empfang, vier Gäste waren schon da, man saß zusammen auf der Veranda und trank einen Aperitif und kam gleich ins Erzählen. Mit dem Gastgeber aus Holland kann man auch Englisch und Deutsch sprechen. Vielleicht nicht gerade ein Chateau, aber ein schönes Häuschen mit toller Aussicht. Stilvoll eingerichtet, gutes Frühstück: üppig für französische Verhältnisse. (wir haben eine Nacht auf der Durchreise dort verbracht)

Vidunderlig udsigt over landskabet fra terrassen. Rigtig hyggeligt og flot renoveret hus/ værelse med behagelig seng. God betjening og mad. Meget venlig vært ☺️ Vil bestemt anbefale dette sted.

Beste Bert-Jan en Paul, dank jullie wel voor een fijn en gastvrij verblijf in jullie B&B Chateau d'Impasse in Laferté sur Amance. Na aankomst werd een heerlijk 3 gangen diner gekookt en het ontbijt op het terras met een prachtig uitzicht was een mooie afsluiting van onze roadtrip. Dank jullie wel! Diana en Guido
