Grasse centre - Loft au bèu mitan 50m2

The Loft is beautifully-situated and has everything one needs for a short stay in Grasse. More than large enough for a couple or small family, the decor and ambiance is great and one feels one is part of this old town. I did not cook, use the dishwasher or washing machine, but everything seemed well set-up. The fans were a welcome addition in the hot temperatures, as was the welcome gift of wine, olives and sweets.

The Loft has a lovely bath but - personally speaking - I prefer a shower. The one genuine downside is the same for every French property I have ever stayed (including hotels!): French pillows just seem to exist in a uniquely lumpy, unsupportive class of their own; I always struggle to get my head comfortable!

The location was excellent. and it is a very comfortable spacious apartment. it was nice to have a bathtub

i. I did not quite realize that there is NO NATURAL LIGHT: there are windows facing other buildings aross a narrow alley, so curtains need to stay closed. to be in the South of France and NOT have natural light is a major feature of this place. ii. the key to the door -- to lock the door when indoors and when leaving-- is quite difficult to get the hang of: which is not a comfortable feeling coming to the apartment in the evening alone in the little alleyway. iii. there are no cars in the center of Grasse and it is very steep. there is a 5-10 minute walk from wherever a car can leave you to get to the apartment -- with suitcases when arriving and when leaving, it is not so easy. but that is a feature of many places in the center of Grasse.

Logement très agréable à Grasse pour un séjour de fin d'année. Le logement est bien situé, en plein centre-ville tout en restant au calme, avec toutes les commodités à proximité. L’hôte a été très réactif et disponible, ce qui a rendu le séjour fluide et sans stress.

Points d’amélioration : Attention, l’hébergement est situé au numéro bis, information qui n’était pas clairement indiquée sur Booking. De plus, un acompte est à prévoir, ce qui est peu signalé lors de la réservation. Enfin, la propreté pourrait être améliorée, notamment au niveau du sol.
