    We paid £140 for a double room on friday night with breakfast. The room was extremely small, no bedside tables, most of the plug sockets did not work the same as the air con in the room, giving a U (Error) code. Luckily there was a fan but a struggle with half the sockets not working. The bathroom was clean but again, very small with the shower head in a bath mounted to the wall spraying water around chest height (im 6ft) so you had to try and duck under it. The ceiling in the bathroom was around 7ft. We had bar food at night which was ok although expensive for what it was, the drinks also expensive and be warned they do not accept cash. The breakfast in the morning, very overpriced for a hot "buffet". last renaming fried egg was like rubber, food seemed to be sat there was lukewarm and we had to ask for fresh to be cooked. I would have thought they are wasting food like this, just cook to order and people wont mind paying £12 for a breakfast. Would we stay again at this price? no. Having said that we did pay *** for a room during the week without breakfast, so if you are flying from manchester this would be a good location, and everything clean.

    Sadly I left my ear pod case in the bar and when looking for it 10 mins after I realised I discovered how filthy the hotel was. Chips, empty bottles and piles of dust. Also staff so helpful. Did not offer to search, did not want to check in bar the morning after. Also little notice that breakfast finished at 9.30 on a Sunday morning. Restaurant manager was curt and dismissive of my arrival at 9.35. Almost blaming me for not being aware of restaurant times. Most hotels tell you on checking in where breakfast is and the times… very disappointed
