The Beach Hut

Great location, 10 mins walk to a sandy beach and next to the site tavern (although we didn't use it). Bakery and corner shop 5 mins walk away. 15 mins drive to Great Yarmouth - Dune restaurant in Palm Court Hotel had several nice veggie options. Castle Carvery in nearby Caister did a good buffet style carvery. Recommend Horsey Gap where there were 100's of seals on the beach at low tide (chargeable car park). Poppylands near there had good menu. Most of the beaches were fairly deserted (mid June) and if you like walking you can go for miles. Didn't see anyone swimming in the sea but it looked fairly shallow in places, especially between the breakers. Although it's a small chalet, they have made clever use of the space available, with adequate storage and good facilities. Clean and tidy. I even found a sewing kit to replace a button. Owner was very responsive to questions. Overall great value and would stay again.

The location and facilities on site were excellent

Traditional Bunk Beds in the second bedroom would give more space I believe.. A traditional Kitchen worktop also. A Walk in Shower perhaps with sink at opposite end to give more space instead of current bath.

Had everything we needed and was ideal for our daughter facilities on site were good and lots of things to do in walking distance. Value for money and great hosts who kept us informed.
