If this hotel was staffed by only Umaima/Oumayma and Alejandro the manager. These two infighting understand hospitality and are great communicators and problems solvers. They go above and beyond. could have given this hotel 10/10. Good central rabat location. Close to old town but honestly everything is pretty easy to get to. Breakfast was fine. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was fine also. Overall clean to me. I suggest learning how to use their public transport as they have a decent system over there. Taxis are not expensive but they like to cheat foreigners. I didn’t appreciate that.
Apart from Umaima/Oumayma and Alejandro the manager, the rest of the staff i encountered were incredibly lousy, rude, disrespectful especially the front desk staff. The rest of the staff were actually ok. You cannot be running a 5* hotel with staff that don’t understand hospitality and international hospitality at that. They cannot be acting the Moroccan way when dealing with international clients. The Moroccan way is to be unreasonable, money grabbing and dismissive. I am sorry to say but this is what i experienced even generally in Morocco. More European/non Moroccan staff need to be hired here.
