This is not a penthouse. It is in the 6th story of a six story building. The view is its saving grace- it is wonderful. Bed is comfortable as is couch (didn’t use the hide a bed). Kitchen has lots of dishes and cookware. No basic pantry supplies but there was ground coffee. In need of a deep clean, especially kitchen cabinets and bathroom. We were woken up two nights at 3am by loud domestic arguing/fighting. May have been from the park. The street noise can be significant too, but it did not go late into the night. Location is great for walking to beach/park and food trucks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Island Surf complex. The amenities were fantastic and it had everything we needed for the beach (coolers, beach towels). The AC was fully functioning. We had a minor issue with the water heater that was fixed very efficiently and was much appreciated. All in all we have no complaints and were very pleased with our stay.
