About this cottage rental
Casinha do Quinteiro was created with the primary goal of providing unforgettable moments and an excellent level of hospitality!
Located in a rural setting yet close to everything, you can enjoy special, peaceful moments both indoors—thanks to its natural wood construction—and in the spectacular garden, whether sunbathing on the lounge chairs, relaxing on the cool grass, or resting in a hammock under the shade of the fig trees!
ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION
“Quinteiro” was also the name given to the person who, in exchange for their labor, received 1/5 of everything they produced on someone else’s land! This lodging was designed and decorated based on that way of life, with the aim of providing unforgettable experiences and moments, so that the whole family or group of friends can relax and let themselves be carried away by the sounds of nature!
Choosing a unique log cabin like this one to make the most of your brief time off will surely be one of your best experiences. This small, round cabin offers the warmth and comfort that an ordinary house simply cannot provide. Everything has been thought out down to the last detail so that anyone can feel completely at ease, without ever feeling cramped!
Enjoy breakfast in the sun at the garden table, or with the kids in the shade of the trees! Take advantage of the garden’s wonderful atmosphere to relax while the children play safely. Let yourself drift away to the sounds of nature—listening to the birdsong, crickets, and frogs that live nearby in an old pond. Sometimes there’s even a donkey in the distance that brays at the same time every day! :)
At the end of the day, enjoy a glass of wine at the lookout point while watching the sunset!

We spent four nights and fell in love with the place. Everything was provided as described. The cottage is just a few minutes drive from the marinas and old town, and was quiet and comfortable. David responded quickly when we had a question. I would definitely recommend this place.

We call this the Hobbit House. Super cute and impeccable workmanship with lots of creativity. This was a labor of love to build to such level.
The host is also as good as it gets- kind and generous. Don’t hesitate- this is the best place to stay- next to Lagos and still away from the crowds.
