Steps from the beach! Perfect Shoreline Getaway

We had the best stay in Madison with our family for a wedding. The location was absolutely PERFECT - amazing for walks along the coastline and going to the beach. The house had everything we needed and our host was so communicative and accommodating. We HIGHLY recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

The house is nicer than the photos, if that were possible! Recently renovated with a wrap-around porch, parking for 4 cars, outdoor outlets (110v) for charging an EV rental car. Loved the proximity to the beach, walks among the luxury homes in the neighborhood. The beach across the street is great for a dip to cool off, but not the whole day. It's a short drive or bike ride to the amazing Hammonassett Beach. Highlights were the big comfy couch in the living room for gathering, and the big outdoor shower to wash off sandy feet. We are leaving with fantastic memories of Madison at 4th of July.

This is an absolute gem in the best location. I stayed here with family including 5 adults and 1 toddler. The owner was so thoughtful and very responsive - for example, I asked about beach chairs and found new ones waiting for us on check-in. The house is completely charming and felt the perfect amount of space for a party our size. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable, with an especially nice master bedroom/bath and a fun lofted space (converted attic?) with an office area, twin bed, and view of the sound. The kitchen is fairy well equipped for cooking basic meals (though besides salt/pepper there are no basic pantry items so bring your own), and we ate every meal on their spacious patio with a view of the water. There is space for parking at least 4 cars on the property. The space would be improved by updates to the backyard including a grill, and fixing the outdoor shower which was not working during our stay. There is no town beach pass available for guests, however it was easy to purchase one at the surf club (they gave the town resident rate of $10/day when I showed the VRBO confirmation). I mention the above for the information of future guests but truly did not inconvenience us in the slightest and we would return here in a heartbeat, and indeed hope this will become a new annual tradition for my family.
