Badia a Coltibuono Wine Resort

Location was amazing, beautiful historic setting that has been nicely converted to accommodate guests whilst our apartment kept its very rustic feel. We enjoyed our visit to the chapel and the gardens around the property were stunning. Cooking class was great fun, Patricia and Lorena was brilliant, so much energy and gauged the lessons perfectly to the groups abilities and input, thoroughly recommend.

Bathrooms whilst rustic, they felt tired. Bed was very firm however appreciate that is personal taste. I think a drinks service for guest on the terrace would be a great addition. Want to sit with a glass of wine and or a beer on the garden terrace.

What a gem! Where do we begin? From arrival to departure, we were greeted with such graciousness. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and you feel as if you are a royal guest! We loved the well thought out, daily breakfast, the cooking class/wine tasting/tour was one of our MOST memorable experiences, and if you can make it happen, definitely ship home some wine…as well as the Vin Santo! It’s the best! So honored to have stayed here. The restaurant should also be mentioned, as the food was quite delicious.

This was a perfect retreat in Tuscany! We decided to take their cooking class, it exceeded all expectations and was the highlight of our Italy trip! We learned how to make focaccia, pasta, and biscotti and tasted several wines. They even gave us a cookbook to take home and our aprons. The property also had an amazing breakfast where you could eat overlooking the garden. It was also has a restaurant so you didn’t have to leave the grounds. There was even hiking trails nearby. I ordered wine to be shipped home. This place really is a gem!

The views and the staff were both incredible.

The value for money was not ideal.
