Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Chianti We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Borgo Livernano. The borgo itself is truly special — beautifully old, full of character and charm, and surrounded by the peaceful and breathtaking nature of the Chianti countryside. The whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany. Everything was wonderful, from the setting to the hospitality, but what really made our stay stand out was the amazing staff. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, especially Elia, who was always there whenever we needed anything and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Just an advice about the road to get to Borgo Livernano, we suggest you arrive through Radda in Chianti and not from Castellina as the road is much better. We genuinely loved our time at Borgo Livernano and would happily return.
Nothing!

Beautifully restored Hamlet separated into various rooms and suites. Located an hour from Florence, Siena, Arezzo and San Gimignano, with lots of other smaller pretty villages even closer. Air conditioning in the bed rooms and plenty of storage space. Plenty of parking space. The pool was beautiful and very refreshing, great temperature! The meals were really delicious, all local produce or straight from the kitchen garden (our girls are everything we ordered for them and even tried a few new things with success). The staff are amazing - super friendly and always available to help of we needed anything - we were very sad to leave them. One of our best holidays ever ❤️
Honestly not much to complain about. Possibly that there was no price list near the mini-bar? (I know some people complain about the bumpy road from Castellina in Chianti (although it is totally driveable if you take your time). However this totally avoidable anyway if you come via Radda in Chianti). Everything else was wonderful

Long drive on gravel road

We loved the place , it’s really magical if you like nature . For us , after a cruise and a road trip it was like a cure of quietness and calm .
Sorry to say , but we have been welcomed by very kind couple , unfortunately they left the same day and replaced by others … impolite , rude , showing no interest to us and even making feel as we disturbed them … they spoke loudly at 7:30 am , like they are alone … each requests was followed by a pffff ….check out was the poorest I could attend … 3 men looming at 2 ladies taking their heavy suite cases in a steep staircase … when to pay the extra … the guy was not polite , showing me with his finger a amount to paid without details nor explanation, I asked for details , and he start to show an exasperation… I paid as I don’t like conflict but not even a goodbye not a thank you … this leave us a bitter taste … For info , fruit salad was fermented and the same during our stay , fried eggs were more a soup of oil and overcooked , the Food is very pour and better mot to have lunch or diner at these place until they do t change the chef and the waiter … a pity to see sucha beautiful place run by unprofessional people , a big management issue there.
