The Purple Door apt in the heart of Radford city

Upon arriving home realized we had left an invaluable set of keys there. The hosts went above and beyond to have the cleaners find them, and then mailed them back to us priority the very next day. We will forever be grateful. Customer service was so above and beyond!!! There were extra blankets and pillows and everything we needed in the kitchen. The location is very central.

It was perfect for me and my 3 children. They were very comfortable and we all felt safe. Everything was clean and we had what we needed. My 8 year old said “it feels like home”. He approved!

The upstairs apartment had some noisy tenants. I suggest a fan or noise machine for the front bedroom. Just young folks enjoying their Friday night. Nothing crazy.

Roomy. Nice and comfy. All you need for a place to stay away from home. Better deal than local hotels.

Someone came in while I was gone during the middle of my stay and turned lights and television on and left on which I found when I returned. I thought this was odd. Upstairs guest were noisy for those staying in the downstairs apartment. I don’t blame the owners just something to be aware of while staying there.

I liked being close to where we had to travel for a volleyball tournament at Virginia Tech. It was nice having a kitchen so we could prepare meals and save some money.

There were 2 bedrooms, one bedroom had a very comfortable bed, the other bed was very uncomfortable. A mattress topper or new mattress would make that bed perfect. Some extra wash clothes would have been nice, I had to do laundry cause there wasn’t enough wash clothes for the 3 of us to use. The street is pretty busy so lots of headlights shining thru the bedroom window all night and you can hear everything from the neighbors that live above the unit, so if you’re a light sleeper like myself, it may be hard to get some good rest. Just a few updates and this place will be a nice place to book and stay.
