About this cottage rental
The Knoll Cottage is surrounded by acres of tranquil farmland, with woods and streams. East and west-facing porches overlook uninterrupted pastoral views=. Downstairs includes living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with queen size bed. Upstairs there are two delightful bedrooms under the eaves. One room has twin beds, the other a double.
The cottage is situated on 170 acres of farmland which includes pastures, woodlands, and two ponds. With this additional land, we have added a glamping tent and a replica of a gypsy caravan. All three are secluded from each other.
Growing up, I was privileged to spend time at my families gypsy caravan back in the UK. It was situated in the countryside outside of London, where we lived. The experience of leaving the city to the freedom of the countryside and the enjoyment of nature inspired me to make our land a place of retreat.
We welcome guests and encourage them to explore and walk the trails. To sit at spots along the way and absorb the surroundings. There will be no sounds of traffic, just those of nature. (Water in the brooks, birdsongs, cattle, and sheep). Nighttime brings pitch-black darkness, no ambient light to distract from the wonder of stargazing.
Our wish is that people in need of a break discover our place (the Lee Farm). Many have found us and returned time after time. The cottage, glamping tent, gypsy caravan are listed individually. Booked together, they provide a desirable destination for family gatherings. This is an ideal situation where parents can relax and children are safe to explore.

I could not have asked for a better experience. We booked this last minute as a much needed break from the responsibilities of life, and this is exactly what the host, Theresa, offers. She is a wonderful lady who goes out of her way to welcome you to her farm like you are family. We loved taking quiet hikes around the beautiful property, enjoying nature, canoeing on her pond, and relaxing in a hammock. The house is an old farmhouse, without a/c, but plenty of fans are provided, and it was still cooler there than when we got back home with a/c. We enjoyed the character of the house. It reminded me of visiting my great grandparents house while growing up. If you need a few days to leave work, children’s activities, and other responsibilities behind, unplug from technology, and reconnect with each other and nature, this is the perfect place to do so.

My dog, Zoe, and I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage, and we would absolutely love to come back! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was quick and easy, the cottage was clean and tidy, and the kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.Theresa was an exceptional host. She welcomed me with a delicious homemade treat, took the time to show me around the property, and pointed out several trails to explore. Her warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home from the very beginning.One of the highlights of our stay was that the cottage is truly dog-friendly, allowing Zoe to enjoy the getaway alongside me. We spent our days relaxing in the peaceful countryside, listening to the birds, watching families of deer wander by, and enjoying the sights and sounds of the cattle, especially the adorable calves. Theresa's large vegetable garden was a delight to see, and the cottage was surrounded by beautiful flowers that made the setting even more charming and peaceful. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy retreat surrounded by nature!

Just got home from my second trip to the farm and it was even more amazing than the first trip.. I don’t think any review could ever do this little cottage justice super affordable, clean, well stocked..the host Theresa is amazing u walk in to a freshly made cake and fresh flowers she’s so kind and helpful… if u decide to stay here do yourself a favor and actually explore the property go see the wagon and ponds and all the beauty this place has to offer..stress of the world just goes away at this cottage I sure never wanna leave when I’m there can’t wait to go back
