Amboseli house

Good position, close to Amboseli Park. Staff is friendly and available to assist you on every request you have. Breakfast is served directly to your room and you have to pre-order it the day before (stating what you eat/drink and what time you'd like to eat). You can also have lunch and dinner at an additional cost of 10 us dollar per person per meal. The host can help you planning the transfer from/to the airport as well as from/to other accomodations you have booked in your trip; he also organized a full-day game drive inside the Amboseli Park and a half-day hiking to the Kenyan slope of Kilimangiaro mountain, which is close as well. Our room had a very nice view on Kilimangiaro mountain.

Our room didnt have the hair dryer and we had to explicitly request it multiple times. The hotel is located in the countryside, so expect insects in you room coming from outside.

Family friendly place with firepit and communal swimming pool. We had breakfast and dinner at Amboseli house and the food was excellent. Vegetables came straight from the garden.

Sam en Thomas waren bijzonder behulpzaam en het zicht op de Kilimanjaro is magistraal. Het domein is verzorgd en heel creatief opgebouwd tussen de moestuinen: een paradijsje. Ook de taxichauffeurs die ons rondleiden waren als gidsen in een toch wel moeilijk bereisbaar land en het eten die ze in het huisje komen brengen is heerlijk.

Property has a really good view on Mount Kilimanjaro, particularly from the pool (and if you know how to use AI to erase unnecessary items in the background)

1) roof was leaking in one room during the rain; 2) no warm water in the bathrooms also shower was in the middle of the bathroom without drainage system; 3) it was a struggle to find the accommodation - no signs, road was awful and during rain the area was flooded. Without experienced driver and 4x4 car we would not be able to cross the muddy streams on our way back.
