Beautiful property with amazing grounds and views. The apartment was spacious and had everything we required Beds were huge! We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the Tuscan hills. A little off the beaten track but that added to its charm and peaceful walks.

The whole look and feel was beautiful. It was authentic, rustic, peaceful, had magnificent views and had Tuscan charm. The room was great with everything you could need. Fantastic location and only a short drive from several towns in the Tuscan region making it a great base to explore

Beautiful location, close to Siena, lovely sauna and hydromassagio session, fantastic restaurant with reasonable prices
The room would have been improved with a comfortable chair or I slightly updated bathroom. We were grateful that they were welcoming and accommodating of our dog but were surprised that there was no outdoor bin for their poo!

The location is truly charming - located on a hill and surrounded by olive trees, it offers beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside and a peaceful setting away from the crowds. The castel itself is an impressive structure with lovely grounds and expansive outdoor areas and it also serves as a good base for exploring nearby attractions. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the room we were given (Double Room) were not even close to the photos advertised on Booking.com and similar platforms. We were assigned an attic room with very narrow stairs that were difficult to navigate. I have uploaded photos of the staircase to provide an accurate view. Proactively addressing a possible response: the issue is not whether we could have requested another room, but rather that all rooms should meet a minimum standard of comfort, especially in a 4-star establishment.
Housekeeping was inconsistent: for instance, the toilet paper was not replenished during our stay, and we nearly ran out by the third day.
Breakfast, though included in the rate, was underwhelming and prepared on a tight budget. Items such as pancakes and scrambled eggs were not replenished once they ran out, which may be acceptable for a short stay, but is disappointing nonetheless.
Lastly, the pool was visibly unclean, with dead insects floating on the surface despite the presence of a cleaning device at the bottom. This discouraged us from using it, which was a shame as we had looked forward to enjoying the pool area.
