The lovely house and the unbelievable view of the water.

The view was stunning especially at sunset. We enjoyed kayaking in the early morning and late afternoon when it was cooler. It was fun catching a couple of fishes directly off the pier and feeding the ducks (and super adorable ducklings!) in the backyard at sunset. The bed linen was super soft and comfortable. It was useful having the extra fridge and freezer in the garage. The location was convenient to go to Caves Beach and Swansea. There is local supermarket within walking distance and Woolies is only an 8min drive away. Communication with the host was efficient - thanks Kaitlyn!

There was only one air conditioner downstairs in the dining area and one upstairs in the main bedroom thus the other bedrooms got pretty stuffy especially in the hot afternoons/evenings. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms, however, it just recirculated the warm air. A clothes dryer would be really convenient. As previous guests have indicated, the pillows are thin but there are four per bed provided so it wasn't a major issue.

Clean , spacious, great view, quiet, great location.

Plug in vacuum would be better and oven turned itself off when we were cooking a roast?

The location of the house located on the shore of Lake Macquarie was beautiful & peaceful. The linen on the beds was excellent. The lounge was large & comfortable. Kitchen, well appointed. Design of the house was very functional & the bedrooms protected from the living area noise.

There are no PowerPoints or hairdryer in the main ensuite. There is no blind on the window in the ensuite so because it is open to the bedroom it’s not possible to keep the room dark at sunrise. No full length mirror. All my party of 5 commented on thin pillows. The negatives are small so would definitely recommend this beauty to anyone .
