A good choice

Located on a large block it's away from the bustle. Clean, freshly renovated and good sized room it's one of a couple of units that are at the back of the owners own home. Secure.

The bed was hard but this seems normal in Europe. Maybe a bit far out from the township for some but we didn't mind as it was a 15 minute walk then a free ferry (which has limited hours of operation)

Lovely studio on the edge of Avignon

Lovely studio apartment in a big garden with a pool on the island facing the Palais de Papes Looking across the Rhone to the sunset shining on the Palais is a view to die for, Very harmonious and restful design. Helpful owners

The island itself is very empty, undeveloped and a bit trashy. Probably because it used to flood (not now)

charming place

location was ideal for us. it was nice to be close to Avignon but not necessarily in the city centre.

more detailed instructions on the property and how to get to there from booking.com would have been helpful; using googlemaps got us to the location but the map doesn't quite show the actual property when you drive up to it. there were not signs on the road or even on the gate of the property so we passed it up a couple time and even went into other driveways and had to ask if they knew.

Great base for Avignon area

Alban was really welcoming and gave us good advice on where to visit. The room was great and the spa bath a great bonus after a long hot day out. The pool was lovely and warm and very clean.

We especially liked the setting outside the room for breakfast, relaxation, and the pool. We liked the location in a rural area outside of Avignon city. But easy access to city on foot (ferry), or by car.

Could have better food preparation area (a counter) near the cooktop. But we were able to manage.

A fabulous place to stay. We will certainly be back.

Our host, Alban, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautiful and it was great to lie outside in in the sun. Our terrace was perfect for eating and sunset drinks. Although too cold for the pool, it did look inviting.

We would have liked a little more preparation space in the kitchen. Perhaps a small rectangular table next to the stove top would work.

Magnifique mas au calme absolu !

Superbe mas entouré de verdure avec une très belle piscine et des propriétaires charmants. Notre studio était spacieux, bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût.

Nous n’avions pas de voiture et malgré le prêt de vélos proposé par l’hôtel, les routes environnantes ne sont pas du tout éclairées et nous avons trouvé qu’une voiture aurait été indispensable pour séjourner ici.

De locatie is ronduit fantastisch. Een oase van rust op een steenworp van Avignon. De ideale plaats om Avignon en de omgeving te verkennen. Prachtige kamer, goed zwembad, zeer warme ontvangst door de hosts. Veel goede tips van de host gekregen.

De keuken was nogal klein maar verder enkel positieve ervaringen.

Schöne Apartments ländlich in der Nähe des historischen Zentrums von Avignon.

Schönes Landhaus mit großem Garten, nur vier Apartments zur Vermietung, sehr ruhig. Für französische Verhältnisse großes Doppelbett. Den Pool haben wir witterungsbedingt nicht genutzt. Die Vermieter haben sich um unsere Anliegen schnell gekümmert.

Nach Avignon zu Fuß zu gehen ist schwierig, zumal die kostenlose Fähre nur eingeschränkte Betriebszeiten hat, zum Abendessen nicht nutzbar. Mit dem Fahrrad braucht man je nach Konstitution 5 bis 10 Minuten. Daher werden hoffentlich in der Saison die angebotenen Fahrräder noch in einen betriebsbereiten Zustand gebracht.

Wij kregen een gratis upgrade naar de studio met jaccuzi; dat was heerlijk. Mooie locatie, centrum Avignon makkelijk bereikbaar. Hartelijk ontvangst door de gastheer.

Afzuiging douche en keuken zijn niet optimaal. Keukendoek en vaatdoekje hadden wij gelukkig zelf meegenomen, die ontbraken, maar we hebben er ook niet naar gevraagd.
