Everything was good except Internet ! WiFi never worked inspite of hotel technician’s rectification! Staff were courteous and attentive.

This is the worst 5 star hotel i have ever stayed.. Had to shift room twice. Tolilets had hadden dirt where no brush went in for the last 10 years... Staff very less.. Bathrooms unclean.. Kettle unwashed... Very poor breakfast. Serving person and cleaning person is same.. MAKE A REVIEW ABOUT HOTEL. GARUDA TRISSUR ALSO ADD.. ALCOHOL HAS TO BE PREPAID LIKE IN LOCAL BARS Review of Garuda Hotel, Thrissur I chose this hotel mainly because it was offered at a lower price than other options in the city. However, even at that rate, I did not find it worth the money. In my opinion, the overall experience was well below what one would expect from a 5-star property and, frankly, below the standards of many 3-star hotels. The biggest disappointment was cleanliness. I had to change rooms twice due to various issues. The bathrooms were poorly maintained, with visible dirt and stains in corners and areas that appeared not to have been properly cleaned for years. There was a persistent fungus/musty smell in the rooms, which made the stay uncomfortable. Even the kettle provided in the room appeared unwashed. Staffing seemed inadequate for the size and category of the hotel. At breakfast, it appeared that the same person was handling both serving and cleaning duties, which did not inspire confidence in hygiene standards. The breakfast spread itself was limited and disappointing. Another surprising aspect was the bar service, where alcohol had to be prepaid before being served, which felt more like a local bar experience than a premium hotel service. To be fair, not everything was negative. The lobby is spacious and presents a good first impression, and the corridors are well maintained. I would also like to specifically mention Yesudas, who genuinely tried his best to address the issues and make the stay comfortable. Unfortunately, individual staff efforts can only do so much when there are larger operational and maintenance problems. Overall, while there are a few positives, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, staffing shortages, and poor breakfast experience overshadowed them. Based on my stay, I would not recommend this property to anyone expecting a genuine 5-star experience.
