Accommodation description:
This secluded gîte, amidst vast meadows and forests near Saint Maurin, offers plenty of peace and privacy. The Dutch owner is a falconer who, along with his dogs, cat and majestic birds of prey, is always ready to answer questions. Soak up the sun from the edge of the private pool or sit back with a good book on one of the two terraces. In the well-equipped kitchen you will prepare the tastiest meals. That will be enjoyment!
In the area, there is a lot to do; during the summer months, each village has its own festivities and these can be very enjoyable, with food markets, flea markets and festivals; there is something for everyone.
Culturally, you are also in the right place here, practically at the junction of the Lot, Lot et Garonne and Dordogne regions. You can go cycling, canoeing, swimming and, above all, enjoy the occasional terrace!

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
This property is not suitable for families with children younger than 12 years of age. The lessor does not accept bookings for families with small children

Amazing place to stay. We stayed for five nights and could not recommend more highly. The house is very large with a beautiful pool and very friendly hosts. Super private, secluded and lovely!

We have just spent the most wonderful two weeks at this lovely detached gite for two. On arrival, you immediately feel calm & relaxed. The gite is delightful - peaceful, very clean, comfortable - huge super king size bed (or can be separated into two large single beds), tastefully decorated and furnished, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside AND with the huge added bonus of exclusive use of a stunning, warm, travertine surround swimming pool! Monique & Paul (the owners) are lovely and so helpful with local knowledge and recommendations, if required - they even, very kindly, managed to arrange a table booking for us at a hidden gem of a restaurant which is always fully booked:). The gite is well located to explore the many miles of stunning countryside, villages and towns in this gorgeous region of SW France. We very much hope to visit again. Thank you to Monique & Paul, you are the perfect hosts!:)

We enjoyed a very relaxing two weeks in this gorgeous gîte. The property is beautifully decorated, well equipped, very calming and comfortable.
We were greeted by our hosts, Monique and Paul, on our arrival and were made to feel most welcome. They were very attentive and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.
We enjoyed exploring the area and highly recommend this beautiful gîte.
