Gem House

Gem House is a great spot to discover all that Erie has to offer. With its proximity to Mercyhurst University, Gannon University Penn State Behrend, and LECOM, Gem House is a perfect spot to stay while visiting a local student or the surrounding attractions. The house is centrally located with easy access to Presque Isle, Waldameer, the Erie Zoo, downtown Erie, and Millcreek Mall. With so much to see and do, you’ll soon see why Erie is also known as the “Gem City.”

While Gem House can sleep 6, it is ideal for couples, small families, or a group of 3 or 4 friends, as it is a cozy, little Cape Cod home.

House was exactly as it was portrayed. Very clean, manager very responsive. There was water, coffee, tea and snacks left for us! Perfect location for visiting our daughter at college.

The space was very nice and suited our needs, but we found all the rules to be too much. Do guests really use the used socks provided? So many rules about where to put trash, towels, linens, etc. We felt like we couldn't really relax for fear of breaking one of the rules.

We loved staying at the Gem house for our little mini vacation! The location was absolutely perfect and was so centralized and close to all the activities we wanted to do. We loved having a beautiful back yard for the kids to run around and loved being able to have a bonfire! House was completely stocked with everything we needed, extremely clean, and Glee was amazing to communicate with!

My sister and friend stayed here at the end of June. The house was very clean and organized. We weren't able to grill out, but Glee was notified of the issue with the grill. It's not too far from the beach and located in a nice neighborhood. Overall, very nice place! Thanks, Glee!

Quick trip to Erie to see family. This property is well located to all local attractions- 10-15 minutes to Presque Isle and Waldameer. House has everything you need- kitchen is well stocked. This worked well for our family of 6! We had enough space and kids enjoyed the games. I understand it was an old house but I was a little worried about all of the extension cords being a fire hazard. Owners communicated well! Easy to access different areas of the city. Kitchen was great!
