The property
THE APARTMENT
You’ll discover a spacious living room with large south-facing windows overlooking the mountains, featuring a large modern kitchen open to the living room—generously equipped with a large central island perfect for preparing delicious meals for cozy evenings (raclette and fondue set, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, freezer, oven, microwave…), a spacious sofa, and a large smart TV for your movie nights (compatible with Netflix, YouTube…), as well as a spacious south-facing terrace.
This terrace, measuring nearly 25m², is perfect for lounging in the sun, tanning on the deck chairs, and enjoying delicious meals cooked on the griddle.
The brand-new apartment features three mountain-style bedrooms: the master bedroom with a magnificent private bathroom, a second bedroom, and a third on the mezzanine. It also includes a second bathroom. Two heat pumps and thermal storage radiators provide comfortable heating throughout the space. In the summer, the apartment is air-conditioned.
It is located on the south-facing slope, halfway up the hillside, in a larch chalet that has just been completely renovated and contains 6 apartments.
Two private parking spaces assigned to this unit are available in front of the chalet.
Each bedroom features a large bed (one measuring 180 cm x 200 cm on the mezzanine and two measuring 160 cm x 200 cm in the other two bedrooms) with Emma mattresses (voted “Best Choice” by UFC Que Choisir and certified chemical-free), as well as duck-down comforters and pillows to ensure you enjoy a restful night’s sleep. (If you have allergies, please let us know: we have alternative pillows and comforters available).
The beds will be made upon your arrival. Towels and toiletries will be provided.
You will be welcomed upon arrival by La Conciergerie du Bon Séjour, and in case of a late arrival, a secure key box will allow you to access your accommodation.
LOCATION
A path will take you to the downtown shops in a 5-minute walk:
bakeries, restaurants, butcher shops, cheese shops, specialty grocery stores, sports stores…
In winter, the access road is always plowed, as is the parking lot, which is easy to reach even during snowstorms.
The ski slopes of the famous La Bresse-Hohneck ski area (36 runs) are a 10-minute drive away or
A 5-minute walk from the free shuttle to the La Bresse Hohneck ski resort; this service is available during winter school breaks.
The shuttle runs from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and takes you to the heart of the resort on the snowfront in 10 minutes.
You’ll find the French ski school as well as the snow garden for the youngest children.
In the village, you’ll find shops, a 25-meter pool with 6 lanes, a recreational pool with a river, waterfall, and massage jets, a 70-meter slide, wading pools, a sauna, hammocks, a whirlpool, a 600 m² ice rink, a 4-lane bowling alley, 2 tennis courts, squash courts, laser tag, a traditional market on Sunday mornings, a movie theater, a massage parlor, restaurants… and lively après-ski fun in the bars…
And in the surrounding area, there are many hikes and activities available: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding trails in winter and summer, snow tubing, snowmobiling, Fantasticable, the “Bol d’Air” adventure park for the whole family, numerous mountain bike trails, road cycling, fishing, paragliding, hiking, dog sledding, rock climbing…, horseback riding or pony rides…
There are many lakes in the area for swimming and fishing.
Gérardmer is a 15-minute drive away, and Rémiremont is 30 minutes away.
Munster is 40 minutes away, and the Alsace Wine Route is 1 hour away (Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Colmar…), with many Christmas markets in winter.
