Perched on the corner of King Street, this elevated second-floor apartment puts you right in the middle of historic Downtown St. Augustine - steps from cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and everything that makes this city one of Florida's most storied destinations. Restored hardwood floors, exposed brick, and craftsman-style finishes give the space genuine character without sacrificing comfort.
Living space
The living area is set up for easy relaxation - ceiling fans overhead, air conditioning throughout, and thoughtful touches that make settling in feel effortless. Step out onto the wrap-around veranda overlooking King Street for your morning coffee or an evening of people-watching from above the action below. A covered outdoor dining area means you can enjoy the fresh air in any weather.
Sleeping arrangements
The master bedroom features a king-size bed dressed in quality linens with its own ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, and both rooms are positioned away from the street - with sound machines and fans included to keep things quiet through the night.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fitted with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a handcrafted wooden range hood, a dishwasher, and a Keurig coffee maker. Cooking basics, dishes, and silverware are all stocked. A bar setup is also available upon request for entertaining.
Bathrooms
Both bathrooms feature tiled glass showers, farm-style sinks, and statement wallpaper for a spa-inspired feel. Hair dryer and essentials are provided.
Extras & practicalities
The home includes a washer and dryer, HDTV with Roku, board games, iron, clothing storage, and a private entrance with keypad self check-in. Two free off-street parking spaces are included - a genuine rarity in this part of town. Dogs are welcome with pre-approval and additional fees. We are a Local Host Company, here to support your stay from arrival to checkout.

The space was beautiful and well maintained. A few other reviews mentioned it being loud in the morning. We assumed it would have to do with the coffee shop downstairs but they are super quiet. You are on a main drag in the center of all the good stuff so you do hear traffic but it not a consistent noise. Just traffic. It is super close to the distillery, winery and only a few minutes walk to the historic areas. We parked our car and never moved it for three days until checkout. We just walked everywhere and this home was in the center of everything and easy to stop back at for rests.

This flat is absolutely adorable! We stayed for Girls Trip, sharing the two bedrooms. Plenty of space for the four of us. The flat itself is nicely done! The details and architecture is typical St. Augustine but updated! We enjoyed the porch every night and went downstairs every morning to Southern Grounds coffee shop for breakfast (amazing food)! The traffic on the street gets started around 7:00am. We’re early birds and didn’t mind too much. The location is a 10! We walked to everything! Oh, we couldn’t figure out how to turn the ice on in the freezer and extra hangers would have been nice, but overall a fabulous place to stay! Check in and out a breeze. 🙌🏻

This rental is conveniently located to all of the best spots in the historic district. You are within walking distance to everything. I must have missed it in the listing, but this unit is located on top of a coffee shop. I was shocked to walk in and see the coffee shop was full of customers, we never would have known upstairs that there was so much activity under us. The road noise is more intrusive. A sound machine, which was provided, is key for cutting some of that noise out. But noise is to be expected when you are located in the heart of the city. By the way, the coffee is great downstairs. The unit itself has such charm. It is tastefully decorated with historical touches. The wrap around balcony adds to the spaciousness of the unit. The couch is different than the one in the listing, it was not comfortable at all. Especially, after a long day walking a comfy couch would be nice. The queen bed in the unit is an old mattress that has a deep hole in the middle. It caused some back issues the first night sleeping on it. I switched to the king bed the next night, that was better. The cleanliness of the unit was just ok. Some of the dishes had food crusted on them. The maid must have used the same rag to wipe everything down because there was a lot of hair on the counters, on the face of the refrigerator and coffee tables. It's not a deal breaker but maybe something to address with the cleaning service. Overall, we would return here again based on location.
