Sugar Creek Place is an updated hideaway with a beautiful open floorplan, modern kitchen, bar seating, fireside dining area and lots of gathering space both inside and outside! You can lounge or dine on the large deck overlooking Sugarcreek. Firepit areas are located on the deck, in the private backyard or creekside. All of this and more is less than 5mi via creek or drive to lovely Franklin, PA where there are restaurants, breweries and year round festivals and events to enjoy. Property can be rented for up to 2 weeks. Any longer than 14 days will have to be pre-approved by the owner.

Another wonderful stay. This was our second stay at Sugarcreek. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. Excellent location for visiting family locally. Beautiful views, relaxing environment. We even saw eagles eating fish in the creek!

Sugar Creek Place was a delight! Our hosts thought of every detail and were extremely responsive before and during our stay. We loved the place so much we chose to stay in and get takeout on our first night vs our plan to go out for dinner! :) We were particularly delighted by the airy nature of the home and the multiple gatherings spaces with opportunities to sit by a gas or wood fire! It was truly delightful! We were in town for a family wedding and 7 adults shared the space very comfortably.

We originally booked this property to take our elderly parents on a guided fly fishing trip, but had to reschedule. The hosts were extremely kind and easy to work with! After rescheduling and arriving in Sept rather than March there was no fishing capability as the water was too low, however we still enjoyed the fire pit at the creek’s edge, the cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. We cooked, relaxed and caught up on family affairs. Our parents are in their 80s and they thought it was absolutely PERFECT! Loved how dog friendly it was too!
